Just before the turn of the year, Dillinger was once again rewarded for an important achievement: EcoVadis, an internationally active assessor of sustainability, again awarded a distinction to Dillinger for the company's work in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In December last year, Dillinger received the gold medal to recognise

  • the company's excellent EcoVadis rating.

The company was thus able to perform even better than in 2020, in which it was, nonetheless, awarded the silver medal.

Gold for Dillinger sustainability strategy
EcoVadis, an international sustainability ratings service, has awarded a gold medal to Aktien-Gesellschaft der Dillinger Hüttenwerke (Dillinger) for its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. The EcoVadis rating confirms the high quality of sustainability management at Dillinger. Responsible operation and sustainable management have long been firmly embedded in the corporate policy of the Saarland-based steel company.
 
Dillinger heavy plate for the world’s highest Ferris wheel Ain Dubai

Dillinger supplied a total of 10,375 t of heavy plate for this imposing structure in Dubai. The world's largest "big wheel" (Ferris wheel) opened in October last year and accommodates 1,400 people who, after boarding, can enjoy the view of Dubai's many attractions from forty-eight glass observation cabins.
